Sometimes the most beautiful stories of the animal kingdom unfold right outside our front door – in our own backyard. Especially during the months when many people stayed home due to the coronavirus, people suddenly noticed what was happening in their immediate neighborhood.
Roland Rydstrom from Anchorage, Alaska, experienced exactly such a moment. One June morning, he looked out from his home office – and there on the lawn lay an adult cow moose and her two calves, completely relaxed, right next to his flower pots.
"The view from my home office is better than yours today," Roland joked when he shared the images on Facebook. And he was probably right.
