Tiny kitten Delilah came to her foster home all on her own. Then she met a little golden retriever puppy – and promptly turned him into her favorite pillow.
A tiny kitten, all alone
Some stories begin right in the middle of a school day. A junior high student said he'd found a tiny kitten on the road – and simply brought the little one to class. Without a cat mom, one thing was clear: this baby needed round-the-clock bottle feeding. The school reached out for help so the little one could get a real chance to thrive.
Thankfully, the vice principal knew about kittens this young – she had fostered for the city shelter over the summer. And so the kitten found her way to Kaitlyn, an animal ER nurse from Jacksonville, Florida, who specializes in newborn fur babies.
«We suspect the kitten was a stray. She was only about 16 days old when she arrived to me,» Kaitlyn shared. The kitten, named Delilah, took to a bottle right away and gobbled down the formula like a champ.
She quickly adapted to indoor life and was clearly very pleased with her warm beds, comfy blankets and the company of her people. But as much as she loved her new home – nothing made her happier than the prospect of a buddy to snuggle with.
